Air Returns

Air Returns or Wood Vents can be used, not only for hvac (heating and air conditioning), but also for all sorts of purposes. This section can be used for Air Returns or Supply vent versions.  When you order we will designate whether it is a supply vent or air return vent.

Wood Vents can be for Walls, Ceilings, on Doors, above doors in the transome area, on Cabinetry, below cabinets in the Toekick area,  on a stair riser or step down, in an interior soffit, at the Lower Wall between the baseboard molding,  at the upper wall or between the Crown Molding, on the floor, on the floor right up against the wall, above a refrigerator, on a Jacuzzi to access the plumbing or motors.

Wood Vents can be in several Styles such as the Louvered Style 

The Register Style (diffuses 2 ways) for Floors or Walls and Ceilings:

The Grate Style for Floors or Walls and Ceilin

The Laser Designs for Walls or Ceilings:

For Floor vents, we need to consider safety as well as appearance and air flow.  If you have a standard 2 or 2.25″ x 10″, 2 x 12″ or 2 x 14″, a 4″ x 10″, 12″ or 14″ size a 6 x 10, 12 or 14″ size and you want a Register Style, just move your cursor to the appropriate tab at the top of the page and look at the Floor Vents section for either the Self Rimming or Flush Mount versions.  If you like this style (diffuses air in 2 directions) you can also use these for wall or Ceiling vents. We are happy to include Countersink Screw Holes or other attachment methods as needed.

If you have Foor Vents in any other size or situation, go to the Floor Grates custom sizes or the Floor Louvered Style custom Sizes section.

If the vent is going into the wall, cabinetry, or ceiling go to the Wall, Ceiling or Cabinetry section (even if it is a supply vent).

If your vent is going into a Toekick area, go to the Toekick  section.

If in a door go to the Door Vents & Louvered door section.

If at the lower Wall at baseboard level go to the Baseboard & Wall at Baseboard level section.
