Cold Air Return Vents

Not only are our cold air return vents made from fine solid woods, but we craft them to last for the entire life of your home.

We have made these for historic homes such as George Washington’s home,  that Yellow Rose of Texas home and many others, so if your “This Old Home”, or a special project from Bob Vila or his team just let us know.

We even make wood air returns for Filter Grilles.  Filter Grills house Filters behind the grille so that it can be changed in a frequent pattern to keep your air and the system duct work nice and clean. We can make Filter Vents for the standard 1″ or 2″ filter thickness.  We can also make them to open sort of like a cabinet door to more easily access the filter for changing.

Because our customers request such a diverse array of woods for their projects, we offer our products in everything from Brazilian cherry to  hickory, walnut to mahogany. If you would like your cold air return vents to be crafted from a wood not listed on our site, simply ask. We’re able to custom-make virtually any vent you can imagine!

In order to ensure a perfect match or to have a vent crafted from rare wood, some of our customers provide us with their own stock, which we’re more than happy to work with. Our cold air return vent styles include a grate, which is made from crisscrossed individual pieces of wood, or a louvered style, which is created from individual wood slats. Both styles are available in drop-in, surface-mount, or flush-mount versions.
